Privacy Policy
What we store on the device
Every journal entry, tag, mood, and goal you create lives in iOS UserDefaults on your iPhone. We do not have a copy and do not back it up to any server we control.
What leaves the device
- Routing check. When the app opens it asks our server which default model and temperature to use for the optional Cloud AI feature. No personal content is sent, only the app version.
- Cloud AI (off by default). If you turn on Cloud AI in Settings and tap the sparkle button next to a text field, just that field's text and a short purpose hint are sent to our backend, then forwarded to the model provider you (or we) selected. The text is not stored after the response is returned.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no passwords.
- No advertising or analytics SDKs.
- No access to your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, camera, location, or health data.
- No third-party tracking.
NSPrivacyTrackingis false in our privacy manifest.
Data export and deletion
Tap Settings → Export entries (JSON) to download a copy. Delete the app and all on-device data is removed by iOS along with it.
Children
FixedFloat is rated 4+ and is not directed at children, but does not collect any personal data and is safe to use at any age.
